About the courts
"Distinctly East End" plays out here, too.
Two clay courts and four pickleball courts, set against the same landscape that makes every round at Laurel feel like it couldn't happen anywhere else. The program is led by Richard Sipala, former assistant coach at Princeton and the University of Arkansas, head coach at Hofstra, and coach to professional and Grand Slam-level players. Sipala brings that same caliber of attention to every member, regardless of level. Whether you're chasing down a wide ball or learning to spin one, the courts at Laurel move at the East End's pace: unhurried, a little competitive, and always better with company. And because Laurel is a country club through and through, a tennis dress code is in effect on the courts—a detail that says a lot about the standard we keep.

Play Your Game.
Clay or pickleball, beginner or regular, the courts here welcome all of it. Show up, find your level, and leave a little better than you arrived.
The Match Doesn't End at the Net.
Win or lose, the best part of a day on the courts is what comes after. The patio's right there. The drinks are cold. The recap is half the fun.
Closer Than You'd Think.
Richard's been here long enough to know your backhand's history. The families, the returning members, the kids who've grown up on these courts, this is the kind of place where your pro actually knows your name. Lessons, clinics, and events unfold all summer.
